The Badin District of Sindh, Pakistan has an estimated population of 1,136,636. We have recently installed a motorised pump in the village of Tahsil Golarchi. The pump benefits over 400 people including Umara Choudary and her family.
She said, “It has changed our lives. Before we would have to walk miles to find water which would often make us ill, but now the pumps means we have access to safe, clean water. It has improved my whole families quality of life and also increased the income potential of the whole community.”
